Newborn photos with two-week-old Teddy

1. Welcoming Baby Teddy for newborn photos

Welcoming a new baby is always special, but this session had such a lovely story behind it. This newborn photoshoot was actually a gift from a close friend, which made it even more meaningful. Once baby Teddy arrived, Jack and Ella came into the studio to capture these early days—and I’m so glad they did.

Little Teddy was just perfect. From the moment they walked in, you could feel how calm and settled everything was. Like many new parents, Jack and Ella were slowly finding their rhythm, adjusting to life with their newborn, and soaking in every little moment. Teddy was feeding well and already showing a lovely, content personality, which made the session feel so relaxed.

Ella also shared how supported she felt during her birth experience. Even though it was a long journey, she spoke so positively about the care she received and how everything was explained to her calmly, helping her feel reassured throughout. Those experiences really stay with you, and it was lovely to see her so at ease during the shoot.

2. Simple & Minimal Newborn Photos in Milton Keynes

A. Pastel Green Setup

Jack and Ella really wanted the focus to be on Teddy and the pure connection between them, so we kept the setups simple and minimal. They didn’t want anything too fussy or distracting—just soft, timeless backgrounds that would highlight their little one and the love they share as a family.

For little Teddy’s portraits, Ella chose a soft pastel green for his main setup, which looked so calm and fresh on him.

B. Neutral Setup

She also mentioned that she liked neutral tones, so we added some cream-coloured outfits for a few simple, timeless shots.

C. Personal Touches with Teddy Bear Props

To make things even more special, we set up a simple bed prop and included a few cherished teddies that Jack and Ella had brought along. And a few grey wrapped prop setup.

3. Newborn Family Photos on a Clean White Background

For their family photos, they chose a clean white background, which worked perfectly with their simple white tees. They wanted to keep everything minimal, with only baby Teddy wrapped, so all the focus stayed on him and their connection as a family. The look was so pure and timeless—no distractions, just beautiful, honest moments between them.

This photoshoot wasn’t just about capturing Teddy, but about documenting this new beginning as a family. These are the moments that pass so quickly, and having them captured means everything later on.

Sessions like this are such a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most thoughtful gifts aren’t things—they’re memories. And this one is something Jack, Ella, and baby Teddy will treasure forever.
