How to book the Photoshoot?
Step 1: Select a photoshoot: I offer the following types of photoshoots Newborn, Maternity, Sitter, Cake Smash, mummy and me, and Family.
Step 2: Select a package: All the pricing and package information are available on the website. There are no hidden charges.
Step 3: Contact for booking: We’ll discuss available dates and any other questions you have. Here is the link to contact us.
Step 4: Fill out the contract form: Details will be provided after you contact for booking.
Step 5: Transfer the booking deposit: Reserve the photoshoot date by transferring the non-refundable £75 ( it’s £100 for Cake Smash) Session Fee as a booking deposit. Payment details will be provided after you contact for booking.
NOTE – As the session fee is included in packages, you would only pay the remaining amount after the session. For example: If you are booking a package worth £495, you would transfer £75 at the time of booking and the remaining £420 after the session.
What’s next after booking?
Step 1: On the day of the photoshoot, you would arrive either at my home studio for an indoor photo shoot or at a beautiful outdoor location for the photoshoot. We’ll have an amazing photo session. We’ll also ensure that we maintain proper social distancing during the photoshoots. You happily go home after the session.
Step 2: Remaining Payment transfer: After the photo session, you would transfer the remaining payment online within 24 hours from the completion of the photo session. Apologies, but I do not accept cash.
(NOTE: Any delay in payment of fees payable will affect the delivery period of final pictures and products. The pictures editing process would not start till the remaining payment is complete. Hoping you understand this and find it reasonable.)
Step 3: Picture Selection and Editing: Based on your package, I (The photographer) will select the best photos from the number of clicks taken on the day of the photoshoot. I select pictures based on a number of technical and artistic criteria so that you get the best pictures. I always ask my clients to trust me with the photo selection. I then start the photo editing process.
(Note: I do not give/show raw pictures, so any such requests get declined.)
Step 4: Final images and products: Final images will be delivered in 4 weeks from the clearance of full payment. If the package includes prints I’ll notify you when the prints are ready, and you would then collect them from my home studio at an agreed date and time.
Important points to consider before booking your session
- Selection of the best images: At the photoshoot, I aim to capture a sufficient number of images for your package. As a photographer, it’s my job to choose the best images that fit the mood of the shoot. You’ll be fully involved in every step during the session. I gather information about your preferences before and during the photoshoot to ensure the best results. However, if you’re not comfortable with this process, I respectfully suggest finding another photographer that better suits your needs.
- I (The photographer) believe in honest transparent pricing which you can view on my website before booking with me. I have tried my best to simplify the whole experience right from the beginning of booking till the delivery of the images.
All the sessions at papaya Peach Photography come with a set number of high-resolution edited images depending on the package. There is no hidden obligation to purchase additional images or any product from Papaya Peach Photography. You will never require to attend any high-pressure sale session to receive your images. - Have you checked my portfolio? – Yes, this is very important, not just for booking me but for booking any photographer.
You should always check a photographer’s portfolio and style. And then ask these questions i.e. do you like their work and style? Would imagine your pictures looking like pictures in the photographer’s portfolio? If the answer is yes, then you should approach the photographer for booking otherwise continue your search till you find the right one for you. - You have seen some pictures on the internet and you are looking for a photographer to produce their duplicates – I have my own style of creating and editing pictures which are reflected in my portfolio on my website. The pictures delivered will be in line with my portfolio.
I can certainly look at others’ work and take inspiration from them, so if you have seen some images somewhere that you like, you can definitely share them with me and I’ll consider them while planning for your session. And these images should be shared in advance of the session, if you show them to me just before starting your session I may not be able to consider them unfortunately as sessions are planned in advance.
However, each photographer has their own unique vision and style of work and no one can or should duplicate another’s work.
