Maternity Photographer in Milton keynes

Sometimes the most beautiful sessions happen when everything comes together at the very last moment—and Anca’s maternity shoot was exactly that.

Anca got in touch with me when she was just two weeks away from her due date. It was a last-minute enquiry, but I knew how important it was for her not to miss this special phase. I was more than happy to accommodate her, making sure we created something truly meaningful despite the limited time.

This was Anca’s second pregnancy, and like many mums, life had been busy. But she didn’t want to let this journey pass without capturing it—and I’m so glad she didn’t.

2. Anca’s red gown photos

She chose a stunning red gown that made her feel like a queen, and I created some beautiful, creative portraits for her—she absolutely loved them.

3. How Maternity Photoshoots Work

Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–35 weeks of pregnancy, when your bump has a beautiful, defined shape while you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.

For your session, you can choose between a studio or an outdoor setting. If you prefer outdoors, we’ll plan and agree on the perfect location during the booking process. For studio sessions, like Anca’s, I provide a selection of maternity gowns and outfits and guide you on what to bring, including suitable undergarments and styling tips.

4. Family Portraits

As part of the session, we also photographed Anca with her husband and their 4-year-old son. These family portraits added such a beautiful layer to the shoot—capturing not just the journey of motherhood, but the love and connection of a growing family waiting to welcome their newest member.

5. Don’t Miss Your Maternity Photoshoot

Pregnancy goes by so fast—you blink, and it’s over. If you skip your maternity shoot, you risk losing these fleeting, magical moments forever.

Your body is doing something incredible, and one day you’ll want to remember just how strong, glowing, and beautiful you were. Plus, your baby will love seeing where their story began—these photos become a part of your family forever.

Life gets busy, especially with other kids or work, but this is your moment to pause, celebrate, and capture it before it’s gone. Once your baby arrives, you can’t recreate this. Don’t let this chapter slip away—these memories are priceless. ✨
