Woughton House Wedding Photographer
I had the pleasure of working with Luke and Ozge not only for their wedding day but also for their engagement shoot earlier this year. From the moment we started planning their engagement session, I knew their wedding would be something truly special. Woughton House was the perfect backdrop for their big day, and I’m so excited to share how their love story unfolded through my lens.
1. Family gathering and details at the venue
The day kicked off with families coming together at Woughton House. It’s such a beautiful venue, with the gardens and historic architecture setting the perfect tone for the celebration. The vibe was relaxed, and you could feel the excitement in the air as everyone was catching up and enjoying each other’s company. I made sure to capture all the little moments—the hugs, the laughs, and the quiet exchanges. It’s these little interactions that really set the scene for the rest of the day.
Ozge’s wedding details were absolutely stunning, from her beautiful bouquet to the elegant floral arrangements around the venue. I captured all of those special touches that really made the day feel uniquely theirs.
2. Arrival and Ceremony
As the ceremony drew near, the atmosphere was filled with so much anticipation. Luke was waiting at the altar, and you could see the excitement in his eyes as Ozge made her way down the aisle. Honestly, it was such an emotional moment! Ozge looked absolutely gorgeous, and I was so happy to be able to capture that moment from both sides—the excitement, the tears, and the love.
The ceremony itself was intimate and meaningful, set against the stunning backdrop of Woughton House. The vows they exchanged were heartfelt and emotional, and you could feel the genuine love between them. I made sure to capture those candid moments that really told the story of their commitment to one another.
3. Family gathering and details at the venue
Once the ceremony was over, it was time for the newlyweds to enjoy some time with family and friends. The gardens at Woughton House made the perfect setting for guests to mingle and celebrate. I snapped a mix of posed family portraits and candid shots, all while capturing the laughter and joy that filled the air.
After such a beautiful ceremony, it was important to highlight all those small details that made their day truly special—from the reception decor to the personalized touches they added. These little details may seem small, but they play a big part in telling the full story of the wedding day.
4. Couple photos
After the family shots, I took Luke and Ozge out for some one-on-one time for their couple photos. It’s always such a nice moment for them to just enjoy each other’s company, away from all the hustle and bustle. We spent some time wandering around the grounds of Woughton House, finding some beautiful spots for portraits.
You could just feel the chemistry between them, and it made the photos even more special. We laughed, joked, and even had a few quiet moments together—capturing everything from their genuine smiles to their soft, intimate glances.
5. Speeches and Cake Cutting
The speeches were a highlight of the evening. Luke and Ozge’s families shared such beautiful, heartfelt words, and there was definitely a lot of laughter (and maybe a few tears). I made sure to capture those emotional moments, especially when Luke and Ozge shared their reactions to the kind words from their loved ones.
And then came the cake cutting! There’s always something so sweet about watching a couple share their first slice of cake together, and Luke and Ozge didn’t disappoint. The joy on their faces and the playful banter as they fed each other a bite was priceless.
6. Games
After the formalities, the reception turned into a full-on celebration. There were games, laughter, and some friendly competition. I love capturing these fun, spontaneous moments—whether it’s the couple taking part in a game with guests or everyone just letting loose and enjoying the evening. It’s these lighthearted moments that really show the fun and carefree side of the day.
7. First Dance
And then, of course, there was the first dance. There’s something so magical about the first dance—just the two of them, surrounded by their loved ones. Luke and Ozge swayed together, looking completely in love and in their own little world. It was such a special moment, and I was so glad to be there to capture it.
The way they looked at each other, the smiles, and the warmth—it was a moment that perfectly wrapped up their wedding day. I made sure to capture every angle of it so they could relive that magic for years to come.
