Christmas activities in and around Milton Keynes
1. Visit Santa’s newest reindeer Norbert at centre: mk – 15 Nov to 24 Dec
The magic of Christmas is returning to centre: mk this November, and this year’s Grotto experience is more enchanting than ever! They are introducing Norbert, Santa’s newest reindeer in this all-new festive experience.
2. Vintage Christmas Grotto
Come visit Father Christmas and his elves in Bletchley Park Mansion’s Ballroom, a beautiful, spacious wood-panelled room used by Codebreakers in World War Two.
In the run-up to Christmas, Father Christmas will make time in his very busy schedule to visit Bletchley Park, and the Ballroom in the Mansion will be decorated with toys and Christmas trees to make him feel more at home.
Individual families will have time in the Grotto, where children will meet with Father Christmas, have a chat, and receive a special Christmas gift. Photos are welcome and one of Father Christmas’ helpful elves will be on hand to help take the perfect shot for you. Pre-booking essential.

3. Relaxed Vintage Christmas Grotto: 30th November
PRICE: £14 per child,
plus admission to Bletchley Park for those aged 12-17 and accompanying adults.
*Please note:
The Father Christmas Grotto Experience is located within Bletchley Park’s beautiful Mansion. To access the museum, including the Mansion, accompanying adults or children aged 12-17 will need to purchase standard admission tickets. All admission tickets are annual passes. Anyone with a valid annual pass does not need to re-purchase them. Children must be accompanied by an adult and have a ticket (£14 per child) for the Vintage Christmas Grotto.
4. Come and meet Father Christmas at Milton Keynes Museum!
Father Christmas and his elves are busy setting up the grotto at the Museum so that he can meet as many of Milton Keynes’ good boys and girls as possible!
He will meet families in his temporary workshop for three weekends in (Nov 29th- 1st Dec & 6th-15th Dec). Santa’s Grotto Prices £15 per child.
5. Woburn Christmas festival – Saturday 23rd November
Woburn will welcome Father Christmas and the festive season on Saturday 23rd November with our Christmas Tree Festival.
Join us from 4 pm to take in our Christmas gift market, complete with live music and carols on the cobbles, as well as mulled wine and food options.
Father Christmas will be arriving at 6:30 pm to turn on the Christmas tree lights.
Afterward, the kids will have a chance to meet him in his grotto for free. Most hospitality venues throughout the village will be celebrating with their festive menu, so it’s the perfect opportunity to have a great evening out in the village for the whole family. Link is here.
6. Festive Event – Santa’s Breakfast 2024 Dobbies Milton Keynes

Each child will get to build their very own festive soft toy to take home, meet Santa Claus and take part in storytelling and family-friendly activities .

7. A Christmas Tail at The Stables – 17 to 24 December
Touching, funny and utterly original, A Christmas Tail, created and performed by leading theatre company Dizzy O’Dare, promises to be the perfect festive treat for the whole family to enjoy.
Having got lost in a snow-storm, a mischievous but lovable puppy faces an epic journey to get home in time for Christmas. Featuring a series of hair-raising escapades along the way, including chaotic snowball fights and side-splitting sledging antics, the show offers a whirlwind of laughter, surprises and heartwarming moments. Can our young but brave puppy make it back home safely in time? All will be revealed in this pawsome adventure for everyone over 4 years old.
8. Gulliver’s Land of Lights Mystica

10. Carols at the Cathedral
